What is a Quaker/Friend 

 

• A belief in the possibility of direct, unmediated communion with the Divine. 

• A commitment to living lives that outwardly attest to this inward experience.

A Quaker, or Friend, is someone who is a member of the Religious Society of Friends. Friends call there churches meetinghouses and the congregation is the meeting, that's where we get the name Hadley Friends Meeting.
